Received an email about NY state e-filing issues. Is this email legit also it asked for email phone number and Name. I was unable to e-file and needed to mail in return?

Just want to make sure it's not a scam, and also the link didn't work properly.

assuming your NY return was rejected and you mailed in a copy, there no purpose in responding to the email.
