Rejection of Efile

I believe this happened last year...but the IRS keeps rejecting my Efile.

I suspect it's because I paperfiled last year, because they rejected my efile for 2020.

So I wonder if I'm in a loop.

Any thoughts or idea of to do?  Just call the IRS?

I don't know what to do to fix this...thanks in advance for ideas.

Jim

The IRS probably did not process the 2020 tax return until late in 2021 so the 2020 AGI is not in their database.

Try entering a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file again.

Bingo!  Thanks so much!  That worked...with a small caveat that wasn't obvious to me at first.  I entered 0 a couple of times and both rejected.  But realized I needed to enter 0.00 and it worked.

Thank you so much!

I tried the solution of changing the AGI to 0.00, but it changes it back to 0. (Zero with a dot).

I changed it in the response to the "rejection" message and TTax  pops up the box with the AGI value to change. And there it saves it as 0. (if that makes sense). Is there another place I can change the AGI?

Thanks
