I have a primary house which I live there 5 months and rent 7 months. When I use turbo tax, it is only applied schedule E, not schedule A. Therefore, all deductions are only applied on schedule E. Should I amend it?

If you use it for personal use then five twelfths of the property taxes and mortgage interest should have been on schedule A. So if the correct amount of property tax and interest is on schedule E (7/12) and the remaining amount of taxes and interest are not enough for you to itemize deductions then you do not need to amend.

However, if the correct amount is not on schedule E then you should amend it in order to get the schedule E deductions to be right.
