Return rejected but AGI is correct. Cannot get IRS transcript. Website freezes at “we’ll send you a code”. What next?

Sometimes the IRS website experiences technical issues due to high volume. If you would like to try a little later for the transcript that is one option.  You can also request a transcript by calling 800-908-9946.  

 

If you are unable to get a transcript or your AGI error persists you will need to print your return and file by mail this year.
