is there any way to fix this without mailing in a return. I understand that they are only doing online returns?

It depends.

If your dad claimed you, he may need to amend his return to allow you to claim yourself on your own tax return.  When he filed for the stimulus payment, by selecting that he claimed you as a dependent, he essentially claimed you as a dependent thereby not allowing you to claim yourself.

How to amend my return?

You will not be able to e-file your return as your social security number was used by him on his filing.  Your only option at this point is to mail your return in.  You could wait for him to prepare an amended return and remove you as a dependent; but since the IRS is not processing paper returns at the moment, your wait may take the same amount of time.
