    Correct, RMDs cannot be rolled over or converted but any additional funds above the RMD can be converted to Roth IRA.

    Therefore, a conversions doesn't have an RMD.

     

    Please note, I cannot see your attachment. 

     

    If you took all your required RMD please make sure you indicate this at the end of the retirement interview:

     

    1. Click on the "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R” 
    2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”
    3. On the "Review your 1099-R info" screen click "Continue"
    4. On the "Did You Miss a Required Distribution From Any Retirement Accounts?" select "None of these plans failed to withdraw the RMD"

    Thankyou..

    I realized that the Roth conversion should not be classified as an RMD after testing it with a value so I deleted the posting and the attachment.

    I've added the attachment below. 

    I believe it accomplishes the same as your suggestion. Agree??
