S-Corp - only 1 officer (of 2) has wages

We are an S-Corp and only one officer earned wages and received a W2 this year.  However after I e-filed the Federal return, I noticed that the K1's had split the wages according to percentage owned of the business instead of assigning the wages to the one person who earned them and received a W2.

Do we need to amend the tax return?  Officers are married and will file personal taxes jointly.

No, the wages are reported as to who earned them.  Since only one person earned them that is the correct way to report them.

wages are not shown on the k-1 except for 199A info - the qualified business income deduction.  in that case wages are split by % of stock ownership.  it would be in box 17 coded with a v and a number or letter.

Thank you for getting back to me - should the wages be split by % ownership when only (1) person actually earned wages?
