Schedule B Part III line 7b. Continuation statement

On Schedule B Part 3 what does "See Stmt 0" mean on line 7b? The number "0" was not there on previous years. Also on the continuation statement it lists the two relevant countries where there is an account, but then a 'Total" line which is showing the number "0". What is the "0" about? (it used to be blank on previous years).

Anyone having this problem? Thank you!

Line 7b is used if you must file FinCEN Form 114 from the foreign countries listed in 7a.  If FinCEN doesn't apply to you, you will want to make sure you have selected that you did not have any foreign transactions.

Thank you, I do have to file an FBAR, having a bank account in two foreign countries. I've done it for years and the TurboTax return used to say See Stmt, with a continuation statement specifying the two countries France and Spain. This year it says See Stmt 0. I wanted to know what is the significance of this "0" number. A "0" also appears now on the continuation statement on the TOTAL line. Thank you!

I would disregard the "0". It may have been placed in the statement because there are no additional details to report.
