I have an error on the temporary easement income and not sure how to answer the question This is strictly rental income fora temporary easement. It wants me to report the number of days the rent is for. I have absolutely no idea If I leave it blank it errors. it also asks me how many days I used it for personal use. If I put 365 then it tells me I am using the wrong form. I am not sure what the significance is of the reporting of these days. How do I get around this error so that I can file my taxes?

I suggest putting the number of days the temporary easement was in effect. For example, 365 days. Or less, if it was less. And using zero for personal use days.

The personal use days usually apply to vacation rentals and help with the allocation of expenses and deduction of losses.
