Second return in TurboTax 2025 on. Mac

[UPDATE: I found the menus I needed. I'm not a Mac user and the fact that the menus (which include "file") are hidden, and there is also a tab in the app called "file", made it confusing for me. 😅]

I have searched for and found an answer to this, but it doesn't work in the 2024 version. I did this no problem in tax year 2023.

I can't figure out how to start a second return for my son in the 2024 version on Mac. There is no "new return" option under the "file" tab in the 2024 version as there was in 2023.

Am not using a Mac, but the File menu should be the same from a Windows program.

Click on the File menu at the top left of the desktop program screen. There should be links for New Tax Return and Open Tax Return.

Are you saying the Mac edition does not have these?

No, there is no "file" menu.

Are you in the Desktop program that you installed on Mac and activated with the 16 digit License Code? Or did you accidentally get into the Online browser version? Does the rest of your screen look like last year's program with the menu going across the top?

I am using the downloaded version on Mac OS, as I originally stated. I activated it with a 16 digit code and used it to file my own taxes. I want to do my son's now.

There are menus across the top (forms, details....search, help center) and tabs below that (personal info, federal taxes, state, taxes review, file)

According to a help topic from last year the "file a new return" option should be under file, but it is not.
