I want to share my return with a friend. How can he use the token # to view file at his end?

You are posting from desktop software.  The tax file is only on your own hard drive.  It is not in the "cloud" for you to send to him or give him access to.  And frankly, emailing a tax file is not secure and not advisable.  You can do it at your own risk if you attach it as a pdf.  But good idea?  No.

I'm trying to share my file with my agent so she can fix something but it isn't giving me that option anywhere... on my phone, on desktop.... this is such a pain!

I am sorry to say I gave up trying.  It finally dawned on me that the "agent" Turbo Tax referred to  was their Turbo Tax Agents - who charge TT user to prepared their taxes -.

If I am wrong in this assumption then I am open to any corrections.  It certainly would be very helpful if we could prepare our taxes ourselves on Turbo Tax & then have a secure way to send to an expert to confirm our figures and forms.

What I finally wound up doing is opening a free ProtonMail account so that I could encrypt it before sending it to my CPA.  This was very easy to accomplish.
