Should employee contributed dependent care FSA get listed in box 10 of the W2?

my employer did not list my Dependent care FSA contributions on line 10. but going through the TurboTax process that seems be a oversite. I have asked them to review it with their CPA... they are saying they have to list it under taxable if they put it there.

Yes, employee contributions definitely go in W2-Box 10. You then complete the Dependent Care Credit Form (2441) to ensure that the deferrals remain pretax.

I don't understand your last sentence- "they are saying they have to list it under taxable if they put it there". Can you rephrase?

But I do know that dependent care FSA deferrals go in Box 10. That's basic stuff.

Do you work for a small employer? (i.e. one more likely to make a mistake like that)

Are the contributions included in Box 1 of your W2?Can you figure that out through a paystub?
