Should I include a W2 (2018) from a previous employer settlement, but I was not employed in with them in 2018.

A settlement from several years ago was completed with an old employer. They sent a W2 for 2018. And during the review TurboTax kept returning to dates of employment during 2018 and there were none. The payment was received in 2018.

Yes, the W-2 is taxable income for 2018 when you got the money.

Enter the dates of employment as the day you were paid in 2018.
