It depends. Chances are you got the correct amount. You are correct that the Child Tax credit is $1000/child (if 16 or younger on Dec. 31, 2017). The Child Tax credit is a nonrefundable credit that reduces your taxable income down to zero, but no farther. However, if you didn't use all of the Child Tax Credit because you only had so much tax liability (as what it sounds like is your case), the remaining portion is potentially refundable in the form if the Additional Child Tax Credit.
So the first amount you see in the form of the Child Tax Credit was limited to how much tax liability you still had, which $2067 sounds about right. But I imagine you'll see 2933 in your breakdown as Additional Child Tax Credit.
