Should I wait for my wife’s W2 form if she made less than $600?

Yes, you should wait to receive your wife's W-2 before filing your joint tax return.

 

You are required to report ALL income on your tax return, however small that income may be.  If you do not, you will receive a letter from the IRS asking you to report that form W-2 as they receive copies of all W-2s.
