Should Iinclude my 1040 if I eFiled it but need to send a check for the payment with 1040-V payment voucher

Sorry for the last minute question, I already eFiled my 1040 earlier however, I need to pay due (I selected the send by mail option).

 

When I followed the instruction, it seems like I can only mail the check with the printed out Form 1040-V Payment Voucher. Am I correct? Or, do I need to attach a copy of the 1040 too (just for the payment)?

You are correct.  You only need to mail the voucher and your payment.  The tax return has already been sent so there's no need to attach a copy.
