Should my w2 form have a box 4 c?

i am told there going to send a W2c . They said I deferred some of my Social security taxes last year.

The IRS issued Notice 2020-65 on August 28, 2020, giving employers the option to defer certain employees' Social Security taxes from September 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020.

 

Please read this IRS document for more information.

 

This is an option. If you did not defer some of your social security taxes, you can safely ignore this message.

 

To make sure that you did not defer social security taxes, please verify that box 4 of your form W-2 is equal to 6.2% of box 3 of the same form.
