Yes, you may be able to deduct your condo's property taxes if you itemize your deductions.

  • If the seller gave you the money at closing for the property taxes, no, you can't include them on your 2019 income tax return.
  • If the seller gave you the money at closing for the property taxes but the amount was less than what you actually paid, you could deduct the difference.
