Since the law has passed for the tax return when will the changes be implemented on filing of taxes?

Very little changed on the 2017 return and those forms are expected to be up to date by the 18th.

Almost all the changes start with the 2018 return you will file in 2019 ... and those changes may not be in the 2017 estimated payments or the "what if" sections until sometime in February or March due to the IRS not posting the regs & withholding tables until then.

The IRS will be accepting tax returns for tax year 2017 on Jan 29, 2018 so all changes should be in place by that date.
