So how do I file a second time

If you mean file a second time in order to correct an error on the original return, you will have to file an "Amended" return which is a 1040X.

 

TurboTax can help you do that. 

 

Please wait for the original return to process before filing an amended return, but if it means you will owe additional tax, be sure to pay that tax by April 15th, 2021

 

 

You have 3 years from the date you filed your return (or 2 years after you paid the tax due, whichever is later) to file an amended return.
