Software to amend 2018 tax not working

To whom this may concern,

I downloaded the software for Mac but it's telling me that "the following disk images could not be opened". I have version 10.14.6. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so, how did you get around it? Thank you, Luis

How did you get the Mac amended software?

There is no stand-alone amend software for Mac - only the full program which for obvious reason is not made available for anyone to download free of charge, but if you paid for the online version then you can request a download this way.

For older Mac systems when TurboTax will not open.

Be sure that System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General -> Allow apps downloaded from App Store and identified developers is checked.

Go to the Applications folder and select the TurboTax application in the Finder and right click with the mouse (or control click) ans select the top "open". That should force the first open. After that it should open normally.
