Spouse worked for the same company in two states, but W2 only lists one state?

My spouse worked for the same company in both Kansas and Missouri last year. Her W2 only has KS info in boxes 15-17. She did the majority of her work in Missouri, where she was a resident all of last year. But her W2 has no info for MO. What do I need to do to get her MO info?

this is something we can not help you with. You need to contact the employer and get an explanation from them and possibly a corrected w-2.

generally, she would have to report all her wages to her state of residency (MO), then depending on Kansas rules she would be taxed on the wages earned while working there. she would then get a credit on MO for some or all of the taxes paid to KS
