I have an adult disabled son that I care for and I have always filed with him on my taxes as my dependent. this year I was also getting paid for housing him and being his caregiver. for what ever reason they did not take out much taxes so its saying I owe now. Do I have to claim his SSI money on my income since he is an adult even though I have him as a dependent

No, do not include any of his income on your tax return.   The only social security benefits you enter on your return is your Form SSA-1099. if applicable.    Do not enter any Supplemental Security Income (SSI) on your tax return.

Certain Medicaid waiver payments are treated as difficulty-of-care payments when received by an individual care provider for the care of an eligible individual (whether related or unrelated) living in their home.  These payments are excluded from gross income and shouldn't be included in your earned income.
