So I have filed my federal I'm suppose to get the 5 early and I have received a date yet and that was Jan 31st and then did state and it's ready to be mailed I'm just wondering why I always that me file state

Please clarify.  Are you asking if you can e-file your state return instead of mailing it?    You should be able to e-file your state as long as your federal return has been accepted.    How to e-file a state return
