Question
State default suggestion comes from where???
I am a little creeped out right now. Just began to help mom with taxes and she lives in a different state from mine. I have filed multiple times with the downloaded form of TurboTax premier. She has never filed with TurboTax. I began to set up her filing and entered no more than her first name and 'retired' as her profession. It then suggests to me that PA is her state (which it is). This scared me to death because how in the world would TT know that information? Seriously, I'm really freaked out right now. Does anyone know how this could happen?
