I started my taxes some time ago.

My refund form the state of Arizona show an amount of $38,325.

I thought that I started work on taxes again, the updates to the problem would correct the error, it has not.

I know that is wrong!

I still have couple of interest and dividend statement to receives.

I did not pay estimated taxes to the state.

I know that my have to pay taxes to the state, or because of some donations to schools, etc. I may not have to pay any taxes at all.

I would applicate help!

This does not sound like an update issue. Check the state withholding amounts in TurboTax. There may be a typo. For example, your Arizona withholding may have been $383.25 instead of $38,325.

State withholding on Form 1099-R is Box 14 and on Box 17 of Form W-2.

There were no state of Arizona withholding taxes for the state.

I did not have taxes withheld for the state from any of my income sources.

It could be a credit or taxes withheld.  Start by taking a look at the AZ Tax summary.

    In TurboTax online,

    1. Click "Tax Tools" in the left hand menu
    2. Click "Tools"
    3. Click "View Tax Summary"
    4. Click "AZ Tax Summary" in the left hand menu

Look to ascertain where the refund is coming from for example, credits or taxes withheld somewhere.

This will tell you where to look in the interview to find the error.

    I found my problem.

I accidentally put my MDW my IRA in the wrong box.

Had nothing to do with withholding.

    Thanks for your help!!!
