Still waiting for 2019 Refund

I filed my taxes last year by efile in June. I was asked in October for copies of the W-2s and 1099Rs, which I promptly submitted (I thought Turbo Tax took care of that and there was no need to send physical copies). Still waiting for my 2019 refund. It's now April. The IRS website continues to say they are still processing my return. What's going on?

Now I am being told that my 2020 return was rejected because I didn't include the correct AGI. It was correct when I filed earlier today. Something is wrong with Turbo Tax or with the IRS.

Sorry that you are having an issue with the IRS.  TurboTax does not issue refunds or Stimulus checks.  TurboTax is a tax preparation platform.  If you have submitted your return to the IRS, then TurboTax is out of the picture.  IRS is forbidden to discuss your information with TurboTax because of privacy laws.

Now, because the IRS has found an issue with your W-2s or income reported by you vs what they received, they are asking you for information that you used to file your 2019 tax return.  Your 2020 AGI is incorrect because the 2019 has not been processed yet.  So your AGI for 2019 is $0.

You will have to deal directly with the IRS to solve your problem.  As long as you respond to them timely, they will resolve the issue in due time, hopefully.
