You are posting from the TT LIVE BASIC version which is not free ... this cost was presented on the screen when you upgraded.

First, click here for how to review your fees. If your TurboTax Online fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons:

· Switch to a lower-priced version of TurboTax Online

· Remove PLUS More Help & Tools

· Remove pay-with-your-refund (Refund Processing)

· Remove Premium Service

· Remove MAX Benefits

· Remove Expert Services

· Remove a state

The online version never worked for me! Still Turbotax charged me $100!

For 2021 ... if you qualify ... try to use one of the IRS FREE FILE options available starting in January :
