Tax deduction for Homecare' like Visiting Angels etc

Since this type of care is not medical in nature, it would only be deductible if related to or required as part of treatment for a medical condition.  Assistance with such things as cooking or light housekeeping is not deductible.  Any medically related in=home care is only deductible as a medical expense, and, as such, only any amount over 7.5% of your Adjusted gross Income could be taken as part of your itemized deductions.  Even if all your medical deductions exceed 7.5% of your AGI, the total of ALL itemized deductions would have to exceed your standard deduction.
