I am not sure where the tax free interest number on my 1040 is coming from. I have clicked the magnifying glass which takes me to the Smart Worksheet, but the Smart Worksheet does not match the number on my 1040. It is the number I expected. The amount on the 1040 is higher than the Smart Worksheet. Is this a glitch or where is the additional money coming from? I don't see the difference labelled as tax free interest in any of my 1099's either.
