If you provided the compromised bank account information on your return for direct deposit and the account was closed prior to the refund deposit, the bank would return the amount to the IRS.  The IRS would then send a check to you using the address on your tax return.

If you have not received the refund, you need to contact the IRS.  They can confirm how and when the refund was issued.  They can advise you of what steps you need to take to receive the refund.
