What did you do?  It sounds like you e-filed and have not waited for the IRS to process your return so now you have also mailed it.  And you were trying to go in and change your return--which would have been a mistake, so it is good that you did not do that.  You should not change your return while it is pending with the IRS.  You should only amend a tax return that has been fully processed.  Do NOT go in to your account and change anything on your return now.  WAIT for it to be processed before you amend it if you omitted some information or need to make a change for a mistake you made originally.   If you both e-filed and mailed it, you may have caused confusion for the IRS that will delay your refund.

You can track your return on the IRS site.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20a of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

To track your state refund:

On the IRS site you are also offered the use of an app called IRS2Go

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.
