Question

Tax Year Prior to 2020: I can't get passed the last step to file, nothing happens, it doesn't tell me whats wrong or what I need to do next.

It depends. If you opted to pay your tax preparation fees from your refund, they money you are 'missing' might be the fee for your tax preparation, plus sales tax. If you did not elect to have your tax preparation fees out of your return and you are missing money, you should contact the IRS or your state and inquire why the funds are not there.
