It sound like when you entered your W-2, you entered an amount with a code of W in box 12. If this is what the W-2 actually shows, your employer reported that you do have an HSA. This means you also need to report the amount distributed from the HSA on Form 8889 and how much of that amount was not used for qualified medical expenses (if any). You should receive a Form 1099-HSA from either your employer or the company that manages the HSA by 1/31/2020. This form shows the amount distributed.

If you do not have an HSA, please verify that you did not enter Code W on the W-2 entry screen. If your W-2 does show Code W in box 12 and you do not have an HSA, you will need to contact your employer to get an amended W-2.
