Question

Tax Year Prior to 2020: I signed back into my previous year and filled out my tax info. My return numbers were off. I was extremely confused, so I created a brand new account, and now numbers are correct. What happened?

Such a simple return with two W2s should not have produced a difference of $7,000. Double check your entries and make sure you've entered the correct information.

I was looking to blank it out and start over and I see and read you can’t do that once you “registered”.   I have gone through and re entered my w2s and they are

correct.  And chose standard deduction and still same issue.  I made a new user name and started over blank and it’s good and can submit it, just do not understand why it’s calculating the way it is and have to abandoned that acct.    And I can’t see the actual tax forms to see the mistake.
