Tax Year Prior to 2020: I wish to change my filing status of last year, Married filed separately to the usual and customary "Married Filing jointly" Does your product allow us to do that?

If you need to change your status on your 2018 return, you will need to file an amended return to do so.

If you are going from married filing separately in 2018 to married filing jointly in 2019, just follow the prompts when you are in the program working on your 2019 return. You will be able to select married filing jointly and add your spouses information as you go though the program.
