Tax Year Prior to 2020: On line it says my return was accepted what dose it mean

It means the IRS accepted your return and you should receive any refund owed in around 21 days

When your returns go from processing to accepting that means the IRS and/or your state have accepted your tax return and will being processing your refund if you are do one.
