Tax Year Prior to 2020: We replaced our central air and furnace in our home with qualifying products totaling $3700 and we replaced a storm door for $313. Turbo tax says $0 deduction

This is likely because either you used up the lifetime limit in a previous year, or you have reduced your income tax liability to zero. 

The Residential Energy Efficient Property Credit is what is called a "non-refundable" credit which means it will only reduce your tax liability to zero.  Any remainder can be carried forward to the next year.
