First make sure you are using the same account you have used in the past (if you have filed using TurboTax before). If you are you can follow the steps below to login to your tax timeline and look at last years return.

  1. Log in to Turbo Tax
  2. Go to My Tax Timeline under My TurboTax
  3. Click on 2018 tax return
  4. Depending on what 1040 form you filed, you will find your AGI in the following places:
    1. If you filed form 1040 EZ line 4
    2. If you filed form 1040A
    3. If you filed a form 1040 line 37

If you are unable to access your prior years return you can request a 2018 transcript from the IRS which will have your AGI on it. To do so, pleas click here and follow the steps: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

If this is your first year filing taxes, you would enter 0 for your previous AGI.
