Question

Tax Year Prior to 2020: Why does it not show me having a dependent in 2018 when I did? How do I correct this or do I even need to?

If you should have a dependent in 2018 and they are not showing on your return you can amend your return to file the dependent. You do not need to file an amended claiming the dependent, but you would probably benefit if you did.
