Texas Property but live in California - Pay taxes?

Hello,

 

I noticed that when I entered my rental property income the CA tax due section changed, which indicates that I am paying California taxes on this property here in CA?  Why is the TurboTax software doing this?

    TurboTax is following the instructions of the State of California.

     

    California says,

    "Residents

    Residents are taxed on all rental income regardless of where the property is located."
