The app isn’t letting me do my taxes for another year

Please explain.   Online TurboTax and the Mobile App can only prepare a current 2019 return.   It cannot prepare a prior-year return.   If you need to prepare a prior-year return, we can tell you how to do so in the desktop software (CD/download) for the proper tax year, or how you can get forms and instructions from the IRS website to prepare it manually.

What year did you prepare in your app?  Hopefully, you prepared the correct 2019 return and didn't file a prior-year return in the current product, which would be a no-no and cause a lot of headache.   And what additional year do you need to prepare?
