Question

The drop down box for school district doesn't display any options and it won't let me manually enter a school district some i am stuck on the school district screen

Have you tried clearing your cache and deleting cookies? Try this as well and hopefully that will allow you to move past the issue.

To clear cache:

I FIGURED IT OUT!! Okay so I don't know where we initially went wrong, but if you're at the end of filing your tax return, you should be able to go back to the State section and edit it. So under federal, you will see state. Click State, click continue, edit {your state} status, and then choose the first "General Information" category that you see. There it will eventually ask you to pick your county again which should already be good but it will give you an opportunity to FINALLY enter that school district from there. Praise the message haha, no upgrade needed!

Yeah I’m doing it for New York and it hasn’t been working , been on it for the past 4 days , I’ve reset my whole taxes and redone them and all , still getting stuck on that page

^ Website to look it up so you can enter the code in the box provided right after the question. That page you're looking at can't be edited and not the best place to fix it. You should follow these steps:

Log into account --> Go to State Returns --> Edit (New York) --> continue to general information;
General Information Residency, county, school district, Residency and state general information Learn More (click) --> Update (answer all questions) click until you get to Tell us your New York County (answer) then continue to next screen Tell us your New York School District and continue (end of error)
