Question

The extension was rejected and I need to refile. How do I do this, turbo tax says it is too late?

After April 18th, you can't get an extension of time to file your tax return.

First if you are getting a refund the extension is not needed.

 

But if you owe you can mail in the extension with the payment for the estimated balance due with a paper copy of the extenion form along with the rejection notice to be considered timely filed ... you must do this TODAY .
