Did you mail it?  They are not opening the mail right now.

Per the IRS website IRS Operations During COVID-19: Mission-critical functions continueThe IRS is not currently able to process individual paper tax returns. If you already have filed via paper but it has not yet been processed, do not file a second tax return or write to the IRS to inquire about the status of your return or your economic impact payment. Paper returns will be processed  once processing centers are able to reopen.

Yes I mailed it in about 6  weeks ago, but I just realized I was supposed to sign somewhere. When I go to turbo tax to check the status it says ready to mail as if I need to mail again. But it also said we received your 2019 tax return and I’m eligible for the stimulus paycheck. So by that I feel like they may have gotten my paperwork I’ve sent in, but I don’t know where to go from here if I refile or wait . Do you know when the IRS will be doing the mailed taxes ?

No one knows.  They are processing millions of tax returns and millions of stimulus checks while short staffed during a pandemic.  They are not answering phone calls and they are not opening the mail at this time.

Your TT account is always going to say "ready to mail" because the software program has no way to know that you actually took the return to a mailbox.

You simply have to wait---and be frustrated by the wait-- to see if they send it back for your signature when they finally start opening the mail.

The IRS site updates daily.  Eventually you may be able to track it on the refund site.

TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
