Irs said that there was a mistake with my return why hasn’t TurboTax informed me of it yet

could be but most calculation errors are caused by incorrect entries by the taxpayer. you can submit a claim but if it's a Turbotax calculation error it only pays the penalties and interest - and then you can not have used overrides on any fields. you would have paid the taxes in any event.
