The name on my personal check to the irs to pay taxes is MIDDLE LAST. The name in my tax return is FIRST MIDDLE LAST. Is this a problem?

The name on all tax forms is FIRST MIDDLE LAST. This is also the name on my Social Security card. I changed my Social Security name during 2018.

Assuming the check clears your bank, there shouldn't be any problem. Once the check does clear, keep a copy as proof of payment.
