The system is telling me that I cannot efile because my 1040 has $0 on certain lines. I get social security so no 1040. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

If the Social Security benefits are the Only income to be reported on the tax return, then there is no reason or need to file a tax return.

If for some reason you think you need to file the tax return, then add $1 of interest income so the tax return can be e-filed.
