I have Windows 10 and using Google Chrome. All apps. are up-to-date and I have 90 GB of storage left..

Backup your tax file(s).They have a .tax2018 file extension (search for *.tax2018 to locate). Uninstall Turbotax. Open File Explorer (or Windows Explorer for systems previous to Windows 10) and right-click on C: drive (under This PC) in the left pane.Select Properties. Then click on Tools tab at top of that window. Click on Check (under Error Checking). If it indicates you don't need to check it go ahead and do so anyway. After that restart your computer and when it finishes loading the desktop, reinstall Turbotax. Then try updating.
