Question

There is no Box 8 on my W2, therefore, I do not know why you say my W2 shows allocated tips in Box 8 and not sure how to proceed?

As I say my W2 does not have a box 8 yet you say my 2 shows allocated tips. I would check No yet you say that is uncommon. Does this have anything to do with Stimilous money I received?

Box 8 on your W2 does not have anything to do with Stimulus payments.

 

Box  8 is for Allocated Tips, if this box is blank do not enter anything in TurboTax, just leave it blank.

delete the original w-2 and re-enter.  box 8 - allocated tips - has nothing to do with either stimulus payment.
